I've heard of putting an animal in quarantine for biting someone, but when
I was called to rescue Ashley, I was stunned to find that she had been quarantined at a
Maryland shelter for scratching a child. It was difficult to feel sorry for her
"family" after reading the letter left behind with her. Ashley just shook in
fear, totally bewildered by her surroundings. I took her to the vet and to get her
groomed, and she showed beautifully at the first adoption show she attended.
Ashley never needed a foster home. She swiftly won the heart of a
wonderful woman. She's got a doggy buddy and a devoted human for the rest of her days. I
could not be happier for this little sweetheart. |
