Revised November 20, 2000

Doesn't this picture just say it all? What a precious little darling Ava is. We knew she would not be with us very long, and we were right. She and her sister, Bethany, were adopted very quickly. Lucky for us, they did not mind being separated. They are each doing beautifully in their new homes.

To find out the whole story behind the abandonment and neglect of these two girls, please click on Bethany's name above. The sad tale is all there. I am happy to be part of their reversal of fortune. Their incredible foster mother made an enormous difference in all that was done for them. For this, and for so much more that she does, I thank her. I wish I could do more for her.

As you can see from the picture, this little sweetheart, who is now named "Daisy," is going to know the love and devotion of two wonderful sisters. I wish there were more families like hers to go around.
