Blacksmith was so filthy and matted when he was rescued from a Maryland shelter, he had to be shaved practically to the skin. He is no more than two years old, and he was brought in as a stray. He was pitifully thin, but in spite of all he had to have endured on the street, he remained friendly and loving.

After a bit of a wait, a Virginia family fell in love with him at one of our adoption shows. He is happy and safe at last.
