Casper, the last of Ashley's puppies to be adopted, has finally found a loving home in Virginia. Please read about his history (and his brothers') by clicking here. It's great to know he is happy and well loved today.

Thanks again to his special foster parents. He opted to tell his story for the reading public.

I was born to Ashley, a Cocker Spaniel found on the streets of College Park, Maryland. Although I did not know my father, I am told he was probably a Golden Retriever. What I do know is that I am a very lucky pup.

As my story goes, I was the last of my siblings to be adopted from my wonderful foster family, but I was lucky enough to find an equally wonderful home. I even have a playmate, a sweet one and a half-year-old Cocker Spaniel named Lexie.

Lexie and I (my name is now Bailey) spend much of our time playing with each other. I even have the good fortune of being able to spend lots of time at the dog park, romping with lots of other dogs -- large and small. I especially look forward to Saturdays because I get to go to the puppy party, where I am able to socialize with other adorable puppies. Sometimes these puppy parties are located at a nursing home where we can still socialize with one another, but also provide enjoyment for the senior citizens. They really seem to like our company.

Although I am not fully trained, I continue to work diligently on becoming a very well-behaved dog. I am even becoming less dominant and possessive toward Lexie.

I would like to thank the Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center for finding me such a loving home. I trust that my Mom and siblings are happy, too.
